What else may be going on at the rainbow circle kids camp this year?

Amongst other things we'll be having the perennial story-time around the fire in the Sacred Lodge, every evening after dinner circle the kids will be entertained by a variety of story-tellers with cocoa. This is a great highlight to the day for everyone, and many adults have been drawn to listen in too. People are encouraged to participate in story telling, we regularly feed new story tellers to the kids.

The camp will include many great activities for all ages of kids. I will be working as part of a dedicated (or is that dessicated?) team to create a fantastic adventure for them, to run during the camp. They will be encouraged to work co-operatively, and solve the mysteries they are presented with, while acting as a character of their choosing ( a pirate, a zombie, a princess, a wizard, a chav, or anything they can imagine).

Children can prepare for the camp by creating a costume for their character before they come to camp.

Adults are encouraged to take an activity with them to the camp that could interest, entertain, and educate children, I really want to involve everyone in this. Bringing scrap stuff the kids can use to make costumes with, or facepainting etc.

Look forward to being with you all
Hazel
